The Victron Blue Power 12V 5A charger is a very efficient high-frequency charger with many functions. The device measures the ambient temperature during the test phase and balances the temperature during the charging process. The temperature is measured again when the charger is in low current mode, charge maintenance voltage phase or storage mode. Therefore, no special settings are required for a cold or hot environment. For smaller batteries there is a low energy mode. It is also possible to charge lithium-ion batteries with this charger. After the battery has been charged, the power consumption of the charger is reduced to 0.5 watts.
The VictronConnect App: Set, view and configure your Blue Smart IP65 charger using your smartphone. Using the VictronConnect app for iOS and Android devices, you can view the status of the charger and battery and even control the charger's functions. By default, voltage and current are displayed on the screen.
